Trunk or Treat
Ten-year-old Earl Ray Henderson works in a dead-end junkyard with his abusive and drunken father, Buck. When a friendly preacher stops by to purchase an old vehicle, the boy’s honesty impresses the man of God. As a result, the boy and his father are invited to attend the church’s annual “Trunk or Treat” event, so dubbed because treats are handed out from the back of vehicle trunks. However, there is one treat neither is ready for.
